With 15+ years of leadership experience and a background in HR and corporate training, I partner with leaders and organizations to build clear, consistent, and people-centered workplaces, in Yuma, across Arizona, and virtually nationwide.
From Emerging Leader to Strategic Partner
I have been leading people since college. Right after graduation, I was recruited into a Fortune 500 company's management and leadership program in Denver, Colorado. That is where I learned that a title does not make someone a leader. The way they show up for their people does. From there, I found my place in HR and in training. As Director of Corporate Training at Arizona Western College, and as the instructor for AWC's SHRM-CP exam prep course, I saw how much people want to lead well. I also saw that learning a skill and actually using it are two different things.

Why I Started JEC
I knew HR was where I wanted to be. But I felt it was limiting for actually helping more leaders. So in 2025, I started Jennifer Ericson Consulting.
Training is the start. Growth is the goal. JEC is built to stay with leaders after the workshop ends, in the everyday moments where culture is actually built.

Rooted in Yuma
We moved to Phoenix so our son could get care at Phoenix Children's. Once he no longer needed to be so close to PCH, we wanted a small-town feel, and we fell in love with Yuma. The people who live and work here are a big part of why I do this work.
I'm a proud member of the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and serve as Certification Director on the board of SHRM Western Arizona, Yuma's local SHRM chapter.
In 2025, I was honored to be named one of Yuma County's 20 Under 40.
